Lee Anne Jillings
Director, Office of Outreach Services and Alliances, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs, US Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration



Lee Anne Jillings is Director, Office of Outreach Services and Alliances, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs at the US Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In this role, she is responsible for the development and implementation of the Alliance Program and coordination of the Agency's compliance assistance activities.

Prior to her present position, she served as Executive Director of the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association (VPPPA) from October 1994 to January 2002. While in this role, the Association emerged as a leader in worker safety, health, and environmental practices through cooperative program initiatives. Previous to becoming Executive Director, Lee Anne was Director of Government Affairs for the VPPPA, in which she was responsible for the development and communication of policy and legislative positions of the Association. Lee Anne spent four years at OSHA, before joining the VPPPA. First she served as a Special Assistant to Assistant Secretary. Later, she joined the OSHA Office of State Programs as a program analyst.

Lee Anne is a graduate of Duke University, Durham, N.C., where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy studies.
