BIOGRAPHY
Tom HaischPreconstruction Services Manager, Martin K. Eby Construction Co.
After graduating from college, Tom went into the Army and was a field officer in the Corps of Engineers serving in Vietnam and Germany. Upon completing his military requirements, Tom joined a consulting and research firm in the Chicago area for a short time. Construction projects outside his office window led him discover his real interest in construction and he joined Martin K. Eby Construction Co., Inc. in July 1974.
Tom was a project engineer and then project manager on numerous projects in Kansas and Missouri until he was transferred to Florida in 1996. Since his arrival in Florida he has worked on jobs at Universal Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Reedy Creek Improvement District, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, and several projects for Seminole County and the Florida Department of Transportation. Three of these projects were design/build. Tom is currently the Preconstruction Services Manager for Design Build for Eby.
Tom has both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Kansas and Florida.
