This session focuses on automation trends and innovations as they relate to the project management and project administrator's functions in construction companies. We will discuss developments in project management systems, collaboration, wireless and workflow, integration with accounting/job cost systems and other technologies that are either saving the project manager time, providing them with access to information, reducing risk on the project, or improving communications within the project team. This session takes a pragmatic approach to the technologies and explores what is really working for contractors rather than a marketing approach extolling the benefits of what should be working.
