The Construction Research Council (CRC) plans the Construction Research Congress and hosts it in different cities every other year.  The last Congress was held in San Diego in 2005.  The CRC Marketing Subcommittee has obtained funds from both CI and the National Science Foundation to build and begin maintenance on “A Virtual Community of Construction Scholars” database.  The website will be hosted by the University of Washington.  The committee also develops publications on relevant construction topics such as constructability, project delivery and leadership and management.
