Purpose: To advance the technology through the systematic collection, assessment, and dissemination of information relating to research, development, processing, applications, evaluations, and performance of bituminous materials.
The Bituminous Materials Committee has engaged in activities such as developing a Special Publication on Asphalt Mix Design and Construction: Past, Present and Future and helping to plan the Airfield and Highway Pavements Specialty Conference and taking the proceedings for this conference.
